James H Bryce
James Bryce is a Senior Lecturer in the International Centre for Brewing and Distilling at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and also a Fellow of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. His research has focussed on the factors that regulate the germination of malting barley and the conversion of starch to fermentable sugars. He has published widely in the scientific and technological literature, and has had a close involvement in Brewing and Distilling Conferences as a contributor, organiser and editor of their proceedings.
