Katherine Bell

Kat Bell has a diverse background in domestic and exotic animal husbandry, conservation and scientific research. She has spent the past 9 years working with captive cheetahs and has recently gained a PhD in cat and cheetah nutrition and reproduction. She has published scientific papers in international journals on various aspects of cheetah and domestic cat nutrition, growth, development and husbandry and has been an invited lecturer and editor for international zoological associations. Currently she is engaged in post-doctoral research specialising in carnivore gastrointestinal health.  She is also the Research Officer for Cheetah Outreach, South Africa.
