Nick Bird

Nick Bird has almost 30 years of experience in the design, management and control of pig ventilation systems. He is a Director and founder member of both Farm Energy & Control Services and Dicam Technology, both leading control equipment brands in UK and US pig production.

Already well known for his expertise in ventilation and control engineering, his work over the last 10 years has focused on the use of modern control and communication systems in pig buildings and other applications. He is keen to admit that measuring and analysing systems in real time in real production situations has been a real eye opener.
