Dr. Satish Gupta/Dr. Koji Koyama/Dr. Joanne Murray

Dr. Koji Koyama obtained his degrees of M.D. and Ph.D from Tokushima University, School of Medicine, in Japan.  He is now Professor and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Hygo College of Medicine, Nishinomiya, Japan.  Dr. Koyama has many international activities.  He is President of the International Society for Immunology of Reproduction, a Council member of the International Co-ordination Committee for Immunology and from 2004-2006 was Vice president of the American Society for Reproductive Immunology.  Dr. Koyama also makes a significant contribution to scientific publishing as Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals.  He speaks Japanese and English.

Dr. Satish Kumar Gupta obtained his Ph.D in biochemistry from the All India Institute for Medical Science, New Delhi, India.  He is now staff scientist and Chief of the Gamete Antigen Laboratory, National Institute for Immunology, New Delhi.  He leads an active research programme specialising in reproductive immunology/biology, vaccines and immunodiagnosis.  Dr. Gupta has made valuable contributions in understanding the biological function of reproductive hormones.  He is currently studying medicinal plants for anti-HIV (anti-AIDS) activities.  Dr. Gupta has an extensive portfolio of published work, including over 100 scientific papers and he has edited 6 books.  He has also been elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India.

Dr. Joanne F. Murray is a Senior Lecturer in Human and Cellular Physiology at the School of Biosciences, University of Westminster, London, UK.  Joanne is a reproductive physiologist and endocrinologist with particular interests in both the role of nutrition in modulating the neuroedocrine control of the reproductive axis and in factors that regulate the growth and development of the ovarian follicle.
