Which eBook formats are available?
NUP currently only offers PDF eBooks.
Does it matter what computer I have?
No, as long as you have Adobe Digital Editions on your computer, the eBooks will work.
What is Adobe Digital Editions?
Adobe Digital Editions is the software that allows you to view your eBooks. It also acts as a Digital Library in which to store all your eBooks. Download here.
Do I need to be online to use Adobe Digital Editions on my computer?
No. You only need to be online to download the software and to download the eBook purchase. Once the eBook is stored on your computer, you can access the eBook offline at any time.
How do I purchase and download an eBook?
Simply follow these steps:
- Log in to NUP account using your login (most commonly an email address) and password. New customers click here to register.
- Choose your eBook from our eBook page.
- Click the Add to the Basket Button.
- Proceed to Checkout once you have added all the titles that you wish to purchase.
- Purchase Order.
- Receive Email (This email will contain the link to download your eBook purchase).
- Click on eBook purchase link
- Save (not open) eBook to your computer (Create an eBook folder to store your eBooks in)
- Click on eBook to open in Adobe Digital Editions.
Why won't my eBook download Link work?
If the Link doesn't work when clicked on, please try to copy and paste the link instead. If you are still having issues, please contact NUP directly.
Why won't my link work through a Hotmail account?
Hotmail accounts have been known to damage the links to download NUP titles, please contact us if you have used a Hotmail account to receive your eBook link.
Can I purchase an eBook as a gift?
This facility is not available at the moment.
Can I print and copy from my eBook?
We allow certain print allowances.

Are NUP eBooks returnable?
Unfortunately, eBooks are non-returnable.
Do I pay VAT?
Legally we must charge VAT on eBooks, therefore we will give an additional discount on our normal retail price so that the amount you pay (including VAT) will be equivalent to the VAT-free print book price.
